Food pantry

Food insecurity can add to the stress of being a student. Bods Feeding Bods is Washburn University's food and commodities pantry. It is stocked with groceries, household and hygiene items as well as books and even school supplies. You will be able to shop the pantry like you would a grocery store and take one worry off your plate.

Campus safety

Washburn is committed to providing a safe and healthy campus. The university has its own police department (WUPD) that is staffed by trained and licensed law enforcement officers who provide 24/7 safety and security services. Officers will escort students to their vehicles if requested. Cameras, strategically placed throughout the campus, provide an extra set of eyes to keep students, faculty and staff safe. Plus WUPD offers training classes and maintains an emergency management system called iAlert that provide added layers of protection.
