A new, modern environment designed for student success is what you will find in Robert J. Dole Hall, Washburn Law's home since the summer of 2023. During your tour, explore high-tech classrooms, mock courtrooms, study rooms, break areas and the Washburn Law Clinic, where students gain valuable practice while serving the community. And, take a moment to gaze at a special mural of the lawyers who took the Brown vs. Board of Education of Topeka case to the Supreme Court - attorneys who were Washburn Law graduates. You will see new amenities alongside reminders of Washburn Law's rich history, creating the perfect launching pad for your legal career.
In addition to this tour, your visit can also include sitting in on a class to get a glimpse of law school academic life, chatting with a faculty member about your career goals and meeting with a member of the Admissions team to ask any follow-up questions about the school or your application.
Washburn Law Student Ambassadors are active in the recruiting of prospective students, providing tours of Robert J. Dole Hall and assisting the Admissions Office in a variety of special events. Our Student Ambassadors come from a variety of different backgrounds and are ready to share their experiences as a Washburn Law student. They can also talk about amenities and opportunities on the Washburn University campus as well as activities and events in the Topeka community.
Visitor parking is located on the west side of the building and is free, like all parking on campus.
