Washburn Law is deeply committed to giving back to the community, living out our motto ‘Non Nobis Solum.’ Our legal clinics serve civil, criminal, family, juvenile, small business and nonprofit clients, and we provide volunteer tax assistance, continuing legal education and expert legal services to Topeka. Our students and faculty are actively involved in numerous pro bono projects, ensuring that those in need have access to legal representation. Third Year Anywhere®

Washburn Law’s groundbreaking Third Year Anywhere program®, the first of its kind, allows students to spend their third year in the geographic location where they plan to practice. This innovative program helps students get involved in the local bar and gain practical experience while completing their courses online.
