Washburn Law Receives Grant from Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation

The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation’s Grants Committee has approved a grant in the amount of $4,500 to support development of materials for Washburn University School of Law’s new Oil and Gas Conservation Law and Practice course. The funding will be used to provide student research assistance to the practitioners who will be participating in the course.

“This is a great opportunity for students who desire to spend part of their summer researching oil and gas issues and working directly with the oil and gas lawyers who will be teaching our students in a new course,” said Professor David Pierce, Norman R. Pozez Chair in Business and Transactional Law. “And, thanks to the Foundation, the students earn some money in the process.”
