Grades and Credits
Although the team instructors for each course grade exams together, students' final letter grades are assigned by the professor from their home institution, as outlined below
Washburn Law J.D. Students
The final letter grade will be assigned by the co-professor from an ABA-accredited law school (usually from Washburn Law) using Washburn Law Grading Guidelines for upper-level courses.
Other U.S.-based J.D. Students
The final letter grade will be assigned by the co-professor from an ABA-accredited law school (usually from Washburn Law) using Washburn Law Grading Guidelines for upper-level courses. However, credits typically transfer as pass/fail (credit/no credit). Please seek home approval before enrolling.
University of the West Indies LL.B. Students
The final letter grade will be assigned by the UWI co-professor according to UWI grading policies.
Non-J.D. Students Enrolled Through Washburn Law
The final letter grade will be assigned by the co-professor from an ABA-accredited law school (usually from Washburn Law) using Washburn Law Grading Guidelines for upper-level courses.
