Elrod's 2015 Edition of Child Custody Practice and Procedure Released

Photograph: Linda ElrodProfessor Linda Elrod has been busy while on sabbatical.  Her 2015 Edition of Child Custody Practice and Procedure has been released. This 2000 page treatise on child custody law includes current developments in custody law, including recent relocation cases, child custody evaluations and new parentage issues in addition to the basic factors for awarding custody.

Elrod also attended the Annual Meeting of the Uniform Law Commission in July. As a reporter for the Family Law Arbitration Act (FLAA), she participated in the second reading of the FLAA on July 13, 2015.

She is the Richard S. Righter Distinguished Professor of Law and Director of the Washburn University School of Law Children and Family Law Center.
