Lunch and Learn: Practice Before the Kansas Court of Tax Appeals

On Wednesday, February 15, 2012, the Center offered a Lunch & Learn session entitled "Practice Before the Kansas Court of Tax Appeals." The session was presented by Judge Trevor Wohlford (left) and Judge J. Fred Kubik (right). Whether students intend to practice in tax specifically or realize that they may well have clients who simply want some guidance in regard to property valuation appeals for their business, personal real estate or personal property, this event will help them understand what the Court does, how it works and what practice before the Court entails.

The presentation was sponsored jointly by the Center for Excellence in Advocacy and the Center for Law and Government.

Judges Wohlford and Kubik provided an overview on Demystifying the Tax Appeals System in Kansas.
