How To Install the Wireless Printers on Vista

Install the Wireless & Lab Printers


* All print jobs must be released from a Print Release Station next to the printer. You can identify your print job based on the description, time and by your computer name.

  1. Step 1Click the Start button and type 'Printers' in Start Search.
  2. Step 3 Click on Add a printer.
  3. step 4Select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.
  4. Step 5Click The printer that I want isn't listed.
  5. Step 6 Select the second option.Six printers are available. Wireless 1 & 2 are on the 2nd floor and Wireless 3 & 4 are on the 3rd and 4th floor repectively.
    1. To select one of the Wireless Printers type:
      • \\print.washburnlaw.edu\Wireless 1
      • \\print.washburnlaw.edu\Wireless 2
      • \\print.washburnlaw.edu\Wireless 3
      • \\print.washburnlaw.edu\Wireless 4
    2. To select one of the lab printers type:
      • \\printlab.washburnlaw.edu\Printer 1
      • \\printlab.washburnlaw.edu\Printer 2
  6. Step 7Click Install driver.
  7. Step 11It takes a few minutes to complete while the driver is being installed, so please be patient.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Step10Click Finish.
  10. All print jobs must be released from a Print Release Station next to the printer. You will be able to recognize your print job based on the description, time, and by your computer name.
