How To Install the Wireless Printer Driver for Windows XP

Washburn Law Library provides four printers for printing from laptop computers.

Wireless 1 & 2 are located on the 2nd floor of the library near the Public Services Department.
Wireless 3 is located in the copier room on the 3rd floor of the library.
Wireless 4 is located in the copier room on the 4th floor of the library.

These instructions are for Windows XP. If you are running Windows Vista, click on install the wireless printers on Vista . (If you use any other Operating System, see the Computer Help Desk staff for assistance.)

Install the Printer Driver

Wireless 1, Wireless 2, Wireless 3, and Wireless 4 are HP LaserJet 4250 printers. You have to download the HP LaserJet 4240/4250/4350 PCL 6 Driver (http://tinyurl.com/2gqw46).
- The printer driver will by default be placed on your local C: drive in a folder called HP LJ 4x50 Series.

Click "Unzip". When the files have unzipped successfully click "Close".
