Wireless Printer Access - FAQ
Questions
- Where do I get printer drivers for the new (third and fourth floor) wireless printers?
- If you are running Windows XP or Vista, you can get the drivers for the new "Wireless 1, 2, 3 & 4" printers here.
- It shows a good wireless connection, but I still cannot print to the wireless printers, what might be happening?
- Your registration may have lapsed for some reason. If this is the case, opening a browser should bring up a log on page that utilizes your MyWashburn account login information. This should renew your registration and allow subsequent printing.
- It is also possible that your computer has detected another wireless network that is available and is connected to it rather than the Washburn University Wireless network. A solution to this situation is available here.
- Where are the wireless printers located?
- If you are in the on the 2nd (main) floor, you can ask anyone working at the reference desk or the circulation desk near the entrance to the library for directions to the wireless printers.
- If you cannot find anyone at one of the desks to help you, you will find Wireless 1 & 2 on the 2nd floor of the library back near the Public Services area.
- If you are on either the 3rd or 4th floors, Wireless 3 & 4 are located on their respective floors in the same room as the photocopiers.
