Here is a selection of downloadable materials. This list includes an archive of PowerPoint presentations, Printer drivers, and a selection of useful software for the maintenance of your personal computer or laptop.
Printer Drivers
- HP 4250 - Wireless 1, 2, 3, 4 (Windows XP)
- Printer driver for the new printers installed on the second, third and fourth floors, respectively named "Wireless1," "Wireless 2," "Wireless 3," and "Wireless 4," for the Windows XP operating system.
Software
- Adobe Reader 8.0
- Adobe Reader is free software that enables access to PDF files.
- Adware
- Adware scans your computer for spyware.
- Law Drive
- Law Drive allows the backup and transfer of files to a remote server through a mapped drive, rather than using FTP. Access to this resource is restricted to Washburn Law students, faculty, and staff.
- MS Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 Formats
- By installing the Compatibility Pack in addition to Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003, you will be able open, edit, and save files using the file formats new to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007
- OneNote Trial
- Free 60 day trial of Microsoft's OneNote 2003 note taking software.
- ProcExp
- ProcExp is short for Process Explorer. It is software that provides a function similar to the Windows Task Manager, but it provides more information.
- SpellChecker OE
- Spell Checker OE installs dictionaries for use with MS Office.
- SpyBot
- SpyBot is software designed to eliminate pieces of spyware that may have been installed on a machine.
- TCP View
- TCP View is software that allows an individual to see who is connecting to their computer at any given time.
- TweakUI
- TweakUI is software that provides a useful tool for customizing the desktop. (For instance, get rid of the balloon pop-ups at the bottom of the screen.)
