Acquiring Microsoft Office 2007

Beginning summer 2007, Washburn University's Microsoft Campus agreement will provide students the opportunity to acquire Microsoft Office 2007 at a substantially reduced cost (anticipated to be approximately $75). If you are purchasing a new laptop or desktop in the near future you may wish to wait until you arrive at Washburn before purchasing Office 2007.

Apple / MacIntosh Computer Support

Washburn University School of Law highly recommends the use of Windows-based laptops. Windows is the dominant operating system used in the legal profession. Washburn Law believes students will be most successful and best prepared for the legal world by using the dominant hardware and software platform. In addition, computer exams at Washburn Law and computer bar exams in most states (including Kansas) may only be taken on Windows-based laptops.

Apple / MacIntosh (Mac) support provided by the law school is limited to assisting with wireless and printer configuration.
