Guidelines

Submit this form to request a room reservation for meetings/presentations.

  • Check calendar to see if the room is available.
  • If you intend to have the event co-sponsored by a Center, visit in advance with Director Shawn Leisinger.
  • Provide as much information as possible about the event; include any equipment needs.
    • For recurring events, list additional dates/times in the 'Special Requests' box.
  • Please spell out all words - do not use abbreviations.
  • The Faculty Reading Room and the Kansas Room are typically not available for student-sponsored events or meetings.
  • Rooms 321 and 327 are typically not available for student-sponsored events or meetings from 8:00-5:00, Monday-Friday.
  • Law students may reserve the courtroom, when available, to practice oral arguments, but no food or drink is allowed.
  • Learn how to reserve a library study room.
  • Requests will normally be reviewed within one business day and an appropriate room will be assigned.
  • If several events are scheduled at the same time, Donna Vilander, scheduling coordinator, may contact you. See the Scheduling Policy.
  • Note that rooms for lunch events are typically reserved from 12:10-1:00 p.m. Please advise speakers of this time constraint.
    • If an event involves food, let the custodians know in advance so appropriate trash containers can be provided.
    • If a spill occurs during your event, inform the Dean's Office immediately so it can be cleaned as soon as possible.
  • Speakers should complete and sign the Photo Release Form (129 KB PDF)
