Tribal and Indian Law Extracurricular Activities

In addition to Washburn Law’s robust Tribal Law curriculum, students have multiple opportunities to enhance their practical skills and enrich their education experience through extracurricular activities.

Interns participating in the Tribal Court Practice Clinic (TCP) may have the opportunity to represent clients in cases in Prairie Band Potawatomie Nation (PBPN). Since many students in this practice concentration also handle cases in state and municipal courts, they become exposed to practice in multiple jurisdictions and therefore develop the skills required to practice in a tribal court setting.
