Government Externships

Students who are interested in government should consider enrolling in an externship any time following their first year of study. Because Washburn Law is located in the Capitol City of Kansas, students have access to and opportunities to work with a multitude of state and federal agencies and entities as well as other groups, lobbying firms, and entities that seek to influence government. Students should consult with their certificate advisor or the externship director to discuss alternatives and evaluate externship placement alternatives.
