WashLaw WEB named to ABA TECHSHOW Hall O' Fame

"60 Sites in 60 Minutes" is one of the most popular sessions at the annual ABA TECHSHOW (the leading legal technology conference) held each March. WashLaw WEB was recently named to The ABA TECHSHOW "60 Sites" Hall O' Fame. See 27 Law Practice Management 41 (July/August 2001) (WashLaw is discussed near the end of the page).

G. Burgess Allison, Jeffrey Flax and Mark Tamminga said of the selected sites: "Here are the Web sites that are so good, or so frequently referenced, that we feel compelled to include them in every edition of '60 Sites in 60 Minutes' (the session presented annually at ABA TECHSHOW). Unfortunately, if we keep mentioning these sites every year, there won't be time for anything else. So here they are, incorporated by reference henceforth into every edition--the '60 Sites' Hall O' Fame."

The entry for WashLaw WEB reads:

"WashLaw WEB
URL www.washlaw.edu
Washburn Law School's portal to the portals takes on the ambitious task of trying to list everything (and it almost succeeds). The listings are comprehensive and up-to-date."

Among the other 17 sites selected were Findlaw, Law Library Resource Xchange, ABA Law Practice Mangement Section, ABA TECHSHOW, and Legal Information Institute.
