Delano Lewis Named 1999 Kansan of the Year
Delano Lewis was named Kansan of the Year by the Topeka Capital-Journal in its Sunday, January 9, 2000 edition. Lewis graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 1963. He recently became U.S. ambassador to South Africa. Lewis most recently visited Washburn to give the 1999 School of Law Commencement address.
