Effective with the May 2007 release, HeinOnline (HOL) includes has a new user interface. All URLs remain the same in HOL. The new interface does not affect any links currently embedded in catalogs. No changes are needed to links in individual catalogs.

Effective with release 2005-8, HeinOnline (HOL) includes links to external journals. External journals are not stored on the Hein servers. Rather, HOL provides a table of contents list for each volume and a link to the fulltext on the host server. 'External journals' are indicated in the Cataloging Aid by the the notation '[External To HeinOnline].'
