Nancy G. Maxwell
Professor of Law

Photograph: Nancy Maxwell."I have two goals for my students. I want my students to become increasingly independent and to regularly challenge themselves. To do so, I work to provide a foundation blending theoretical analysis with the practical side of law because I realize my students will pursue diverse professional lives. The transformation process from when the student enters the law school to graduation is remarkable. It's rewarding when I play a role in the development of a student's self-determination."
