* Clinic classroom component will meet for first eight weeks of the semester. Interns are required to be available in the Clinic office at least one pre-determined hour per day, Monday through Friday.
** Externship classroom component will meet only in the third and fourth weeks of the semester.
*** Juvenile Offender meets for first 10 weeks only. Final exam will be on 11th Thursday (4-3-08).
**** Law Colloquium Description: Technology and Science: Impact on Law Students, Practitioners and Legal Scholars (1 Hour; Credit/No Credit). This course will begin on February 6, 2008, and meet every Wednesday at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (except for Spring break) until April 2, 2008. At least 20 Washburn University School of Law professors will participate as presenters. Subject areas range from the politics of science in the environment, to prospecting indigenous people's genetic material, to washing sperm. Each student will keep a journal in which they write written responses to the readings and presentations. Faculty members will lead small group discussions after each presentation and will also review the journal entries.
***** Legislative Workshop will meet for seven weeks on the following Fridays: January 18 and 25, February 1 and 8, March 7, and April 11 and 18. Students will be able to park for free in the visitor spots in the underground lot; access is from 8th St., just east of Harrison.
