Tai Vokins, summer 2007 intern and fall 2007 directed intern, suggested that Clinic interns need specific tips on how to describe their Clinic experience on their resume and how to discuss that experience in interviews. The Clinic turned directly to Margann. Within a week the presentation was scheduled and Margann gave thirty-minute seminar to the summer interns. Due to the positive response the Clinic received regarding Margann’s presentation, it will now be offered every semester.

Debi Schrock, Clinic Coordinator, stated "At the end of the semester we ask intern to complete a Clinic evaluation. We take their comments and suggestions on how we can improve to heart. Tai's suggestion was great. It is beneficial to interns to highlight their Clinic experience on their resumes and Margann did a wonderful job delivering that message."

"The interns obtain wonderful experience in the Clinic which should be highlighted on their resumes and during interviews," Margann commented. "For 'transferable skills', it just doesn't get any better than actually practicing law."
