Spring 2007 Interns
Interns working under the supervision of Professor John Francis focus on criminal defense matters heard in Shawnee County District Court, Municipal Court and area Tribal Courts. This semester these interns also worked on a complex civil matter in Federal Court along with the interns assigned to Professor Waugh.

Under the supervision of Professor Aliza Organick, interns provide misdemeanor criminal defense in both State and tribal courts as well as divorces with minor children of the marriage.

Under Professor Waugh's supervision, interns represented clients in civil matters such as landlord/tenant and contract issues. These interns worked with the interns assigned to Professor Francis on a complex civil matter being heard in Federal Court.

Interns working under Professor Reynolds' supervision focus on family law matters such as divorce with minor children of the marriage, paternity, adoption, and guardianships.

Interns choosing family law and child in need of care matters as their case preference are assigned to Professor Petty. These interns represent individuals in divorce matters as well as serve as Guardian ad Litem for children in CINC matters.

Interns enrolled in the Small Business & Transactional Law Center are assisting in setting up new businesses and nonprofit organizations. They also counsel and assist existing businesses concerning a variety of transactional matters.
