After this summer Professor Waugh's time at the Law Clinic will come to end. We've all enjoyed working with Professor Waugh and will miss him terribly. The following comments are from students Professor Waugh has supervised this semester.

"I have really enjoyed working with Professor Waugh this past few months. In my last semester of law school, it's been great to have a mentor to help me move from the books into the real world. My favorite moment involving Professor Waugh was during my second client interview, after Professor Waugh introduced himself and exited, my 65 year old grandmotherly client exclaimed, "He's cute!" Professor Waugh's great sense of humor and willingness to fight for the underdog has impressed me. I look forward to staying in contact with him as we both move onto the next stage." — Ryan Vincent

"Professor Waugh is an experienced and talented attorney and a wonderful supervising attorney; this is a wonderful and unusual combination. He will be missed." — Jeremiah Gramkow

"Professor Waugh has been a great example to me of how to use professionalism and a client-centered approach in the representation of clients." — Vincent Cox

"As a student attorney, my experience working with Professor Waugh has been remarkable. Professor Waugh has offered me intellectual and creative individualized instruction in the lawyering process, as well as beneficial and constructive feedback, which enabled me to learn and practice law by taking significant responsibility under his exceptional guidance. Whenever I struggled with an ethical problem, Professor Waugh was always eager to assist me and knowledgeable about how to resolve the problem. He enabled me to develop reflective habits that encourage continuous professional growth. I wish Professor Waugh and his family the very best in their future endeavors." — Jason Griess

"I have had the opportunity to work with Professor Waugh the entire school year of 2004-2005. Professor Waugh is a dedicated lawyer who enjoys not only helping clients, but also helping his legal interns learn while working on their cases. He will be missed by the Law Clinic but will not be forgotten by his interns." — Anthony E. Valenti
