Clinic Interns Participate in First Swearing-In Ceremony
On September 24, 2004, Clinic interns took part in the first ever swearing-in ceremony held for Clinic interns. Judge Christel Marquardt of the Kansas Court of Appeals, presided over the ceremony and administered the oath.
Judge Marquardt gave advice to the interns about holding tight to your ethics and to not let others dissuade you from what you know is the correct thing to do.
The Law Clinic plans to continue with the swearing-in ceremonies in the future.
