Tax and Estate Planning Association 2006-2007 Officers
2006-2007 Officers
- President: Tim Hurley is a second year law student who plans to graduate in May 2008. He graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S.B.A in Accounting. He also received an M.B.A. from Ashland University. Currently, Tim is working toward the tax law certificate and is a member of the Washburn Law Journal. He is also a research assistant for Professor Brad Borden.
- Vice President: Adam Peer is a third year student from Craig, Colorado. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from McPherson College with a B.S. in Spanish and Finance, and a minor in International Business. Adam is a member of the Washburn Law Journal. He is also a Moot Court participant.
- Secretary: Chad O'Neill is a third year student graduating in May of 2007. He graduated from Western Illinois University in 2003 with a B.A. in business management. He is currently working at Midland Professional Associates in Lawrence Kansas.
- Treasurer: Dianne Rosell is a third year student graduating in December 2006. She has a B.A. from Wichita State University in Journalism: Advertising and Public Relations. She is currently working as a Graduate Fellow for the Kansas Revisor of Statutes Office and plans to practice in the Elder Law area.
Advisors
- Professional Advisor: Scott Taddiken is an attorney with Newbery, Ungerer & Hickert LLP in Topeka and practices in the areas of State and Federal Taxation, Estate Planning, and Business and Corporate Law. Scott received a JD, with a Tax Law Certificate, and an MBA from Washburn University and currently teaches as an adjunct professor with the Washburn University School of Business.
