Family Law Student Society 2007-2008 Coordinators

Photograph: Michelle Illig.Michelle Illig is a third year law student from Overland Park, Kansas. Michelle received her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Missouri. Prior to entering law school, she worked in various financial and human resource positions for KPMG, IBM and Johnson County Government. Michelle has a passion for children and is an advocate for the child having a voice in the legal system. Michelle served as the publicity chair for the Children and Family Law Center during the 2006-2007 school year. She worked as Professor Linda Elrod's research assistant during the Spring 2007 semester. Michelle is pursuing certificates in both Family Law and Trial Advocacy. During the 2008 Spring semester, Michelle will be a legal intern for the Washburn Law Clinic, specializing in children and family issues.
