Washburn Advocacy Scholar in Residence
The Washburn Advocacy Scholar in Residence program brings nationally known trial advocacy scholars to Washburn Law and the University community. Scholars may come from law or related fields and may include researchers in the psychology, sociology or history of advocacy. Advocacy scholars may also be well-known advocacy teachers. During their time in residence at Washburn Law, advocacy scholars give public lectures, conduct faculty workshops, visit advocacy classes and meet with members of the Center for Excellence in Advocacy's student-run Washburn Advocacy Society.
The following individuals have visited Washburn Law as Advocacy Scholars:
- Charles H. Rose III - Fall 2007
- Mark M. Dobson - Spring 2006
- Paul J. Zwier, II - Spring 2005
- Doug Colbert - Spring 2004
