Trial Advocacy Training Team
Washburn Law is recognized nationally as a teaching partner with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), the nation’s foremost trial advocacy skills training organization. The Center for Excellence in Advocacy was selected as the site of NITA’s annual Mid-America Deposition Skills Training Program. Washburn conducts through NITA public service lawyers outreach programs, designed to train public service lawyers in regions previously unserved by NITA. Lawyers in small firms, legal aid and public defenders offices, prosecutors, government agency lawyers, and domestic violence advocates have received this nationally recognized training.
