About the NALP Employment Report and Salary Survey
Please take a few minutes to complete our Employment Survey online. The survey takes less than five minutes. Currently, we are compiling information for the Class of 2008, including December 2007 and both May and August 2008 graduates. We would also like to hear from graduates from previous years.
Your responses are used to help graduates and alumni in the job search process -- for example, by determining which types of employers are hiring, where jobs can be found, and what salaries are being paid. Some of the information is reported to the National Association for Law Placement (NALP). NALP compiles the only national survey on the employment of graduating law students. The national results are used by employers
- in deciding where to recruit and to insure their salaries are competitive;
- by individuals considering law school;
- and by those concerned with minority and gender hiring trends, among others.
As you probably know, the results of the NALP national survey are reported widely in the press.
All individual information is strictly confidential within the school and NALP. Information sent to NALP is provided on an anonymous basis and only aggregates and averages are published. NALP does not release data specifically related to individuals.
Thank you very much in advance for taking an active role in helping your profession compile accurate information on the employment outlook. If the Washburn Law Professional Development Office can assist you, please contact us.
