The Washburn Law Professional Development Office (PDO) uses Career Services Manager, powered by Symplicity, to centralize the many services it provides to students, alumni, and employers.
Career Manager was developed specifically for law school career planning offices.
- Students and alumni create personal profiles describing their career interests, education, and background. A notification system alerts job seekers when new positions are available.
- Alumni can register to serve in the Washburn Law Mentor Program and other PDO volunteer opportunities.
- Employers create profiles, which can be searched and "tagged as favorites" by job seekers, and submit on-campus interview requests and job postings to Washburn Law PDO and/or other law schools.
In addition, Career Manager provides all users with a calendar of upcoming events and allows them to schedule appointments with PDO staff.
