Karla Whitaker, Director of Admissions, joined the law school after having served for more than a decade on behalf of Kansas law-related professional associations. She was the Assistant Director of the Kansas Bar Association, having also served the KBA as Continuing Legal Education Director and Media Relations Director. Karla later joined the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, providing advice and services in the areas of legal education, membership development and fund raising administration. Janessa Akin is the Assistant Director of Admissions.

Maryam Fakhradeen is an Admissions Representative. She previously worked for the Kansas Department of Revenue assisting the taxpayers of Kansas by investigating and ensuring tax compliance. Vincent Granado is a Washburn Law School graduate. He was President of the Real Estate Law Society and the Hispanic American Law Students Association during law school. He also was Secretary for the Washburn Law Democrats and Student Liaison for the Faculty Recruitment Committee.
