Washburn Law Student Ambassadors:

  • Provide tours of the law school to prospective students and other guests;
  • Represent Washburn Law at local and regional recruiting and related events;
  • Personally respond to requests for student-perspective information from prospective and admitted students on campus, by email, and by telephone; and
  • Assist the Admissions Office in special projects and events.

Washburn Law students who have successfully completed one semester of law school are invited to apply. Students who served as ambassadors during the 2023-2024 school year are also required to reapply.

Brief interviews will be held prior to the selection of the 2023-2024 Student Ambassadors on August 1 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.; August 2 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.; August 3 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.; and August 4 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Student Ambassadors will receive training from the Admissions Office regarding recruiting information, guidelines for the program, travel policies, and related expense reporting criteria.
