Homestead Scholars Program

The Washburn University School of Law Homestead Scholars Program recognizes top students from certain Kansas universities with the possibility of earning a special Homestead Scholarship, upon admission to Washburn Law (apply to Washburn Law). Generous alumni with ties to the undergraduate universities contribute to these scholarships.

Washburn University School of Law is widely recognized as a leader in law and government, natural resources, trial advocacy, tax, business, and family law, and is a pioneer in clinical legal education. Our student academic success is supported by a nationally ranked legal writing program and a nationally recognized academic skills program for entering students.

Qualifying Institutions

Applicants from the following Kansas universities may qualify for this award:

  • University of Kansas
