First Semester Class Schedules and Textbooks

Class Schedules: Upon arrival to Washburn Law, first year students are assigned to a section, either A or B. Class schedules for each section are as follows (see also complete Fall 2017 class schedule and exam schedule).

Ordering Textbooks

Warning: Do not purchase textbooks prior to receiving your section assignment. Section assignment affects textbook purchases.

  • Click "Course Textbooks" for each course listed below to see required and optional textbooks. You are redirected to the Washburn University Ichabod Shop (bookstore). Please note that you are not required to purchase textbooks from the Ichabod Shop.
  • The Washburn Student Bar Association (WSBA) facilitates a Book Exchange through Facebook (see WSBA Member Book Exchange). Many second year law students have books that are being re-used again this year and are willing to sell them at a price lower than the WU bookstore, Amazon, or other sources.

Learn more about ordering textbooks on the Fall 2017 Course Reference Numbers and Textbooks page.
