Associate Dean for Student Affairs

Jalen Lowry, associate dean for student affairs, is responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of student life and upholding the standards of the law school. She helps students with both academic and non-academic issues. Dean Lowry is a member of the Dean's leadership team, which collaborates with faculty to move school initiatives and goals forward, keeping our students' best interests at the forefront.

Washburn University School of Law strives to assure equal access and full participation by persons with disabilities. Dean Lowry works to ensure that Washburn Law provides a level playing field for our students with disabilities as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dean Lowry works closely with faculty and staff to provide the necessary accommodations to meet students' individual needs.
